Core Process Psychotherapy

Our work begins with the body, as it is through the body that we know and that we live. Our bodies remember the things that our minds keep hidden from us. By getting to know the patterns and shapes our bodies habitually take, we can integrate difficult experiences and live with greater ease.

I draw together Western and Buddhist Psychology through a form of psychotherapy called ‘Core Process’ to offer you a space to feel deeply and re-discover your connection to what helps you feel safe and nourished.

Sessions are offered on a sliding scale.

How I Work.

Therapy offers a space just for you. It is a place where you can be met tenderly in all that you bring, no matter how difficult. It is somewhere where your feelings, sensations and experiences are held compassionately, allowing the most sensitive parts of yourself to become a gift.

Engaging creatively with body-heart-mind-spirit allows you to make your own discoveries and connect with your own wisdom.

As we come to know and understand our own process, we bring it into relationship with ourselves, which softens the hold it once had on us.

The central experience that enables this is showing up fully in therapy sessions, willing to bring, however tentatively or full of defences, our pain, our shame, our suffering, and our joy.

It is in being met in these places with compassion and acceptance that we learn to appreciate and accept our embodied emotions.

Our inquiry can support you to develop a deep embodied connection to your inherent health and aliveness.
